A federal grant helps extend sober housing for probationers

Referrals may come from Trial Court staff, Defense Counsel, and the District Attorney’s office. Recovery Support Navigation services are available to court users involved with any court department. Court users and their loved ones do not need to have an open case or be on probation to access mash certified sober homes Recovery Support Navigation services. Residents are linked to mutual aid, recovery activities and recovery advocacy opportunities. Community gatherings, recreational events and/or other social activities occur periodically. Sober House Operators in Massachusetts
Effective September 1, 2016, state agencies and their vendors shall only be able to refer clients to certified alcohol and drug free (ADF) housing. Any home not certified will not be able to accept clients from state agencies until certified. A contract was awarded to the Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing (MASH) to be the certifying body, and the training and technical assistance vendor. We were founded jointly by Vanderburgh House, an operator of sober houses in Massachusetts, and Vanderburgh Communities, an organization supporting sober living and recovery home operators.
